So he disproved astrology and then found it works? Exactly. He discovered the same thing that's been floating around the net recently about the current positions of the planets in relation to the constellations through-out the year. He also found that it made absolutely no difference where Aries re... |

Yep, and I think it's pretty constant but I've had it so long I don't really notice it unless it comes up (like right now) or gets louder. And now it's been brought to my attention and is bugging me. D'oh. Need to go distract myself again |

Mysty wrote: Having AS doesn't make you an authority on it in all its expressions. That may be true. However, everyone agrees on the universality of AS as a developmental disorder. In other words, you are born with a differently wired brain, which is something that cannot change; and so the symptom... |

I will absolutely let you know if i decide to upload any :) I completely agree on you on the old versus new. I've lived in 2 new build homes and while they were well designed and very practical, they were cold and soulless. A few years back I couldn't handle my new build any more so we sold up and b... |

I spent years playing MMOs - EQ, DAoC, WoW, CoH, War etc etc, I like the these games lots but I hate grouping so I usually only stick with games that I can comfortably solo. Once grouping becomes required, I move on to a new game. I got addicted to Facebook flash games and only yesterday in a determ... |

I didn't vote. I'm told I am a very good driver but I hate driving so I don't do it unless I have absolutely no choice. I lost concentration once and almost ran someone over so I am totally paranoid about getting distracted and something awful happening. I think ADD is my cause for concern rather th... |

Just because you have learned how to control a condition, doesn't mean that it has gone away! Throughout my childhood I was very typically Aspie, but undiagnosed (1970's). I fought really hard to be like the other kids so by the time I was in my teens, I still felt different but I had learned some s... |

Most are my own designs though there are occasions when I want to recreate a house I've seen whether driving past, or on the internet/TV. My own designs do often follow very specific patterns because they are all places I would like to live, though I like to push my boundaries sometimes and create a... |

I can't handle being one to one with anyone, I like a crowd I can get lost in, though the noise gets to me, it's far better than having to deal with a situation where I have to try and hold a normal conversation. Concert or party are great, party better because a little application of alcohol makes ... |

Love this. :) Back in the mid 1970's, my father, the very typical and practical Capricorn and also (unknown to any of us at the time) an Aspie, got sick and tired of hearing the women in his work place gossiping about their horoscopes and decided to study up on the topic so that he could explain to ... |

Would you mind me asking about how you went about getting your diagnoses? I'm also in my 40's and in the UK and I just keeping hitting brick walls when I try. I'm comfortable enough with my self diagnoses but I think my family needs more. |

I only found this forum yesterday, though the pieces fell into place for me a good 5 or 6 years ago when a colleague of my husband was diagnosed and my husband realised I had exactly the same issues. I was an outcast by choice as a child, I just didn't get the other kids so I was more comfortable st... |

My "thing" as a child was designing houses, reams and reams of paper, stacked in piles all with floor plans on them, so as you can no doubt guess that this is one of my favourite games. I don't have much interest in the actual game play but I spend lots of time just designing homes. I dream of the d... |

Nice to know I'm not alone. While I will dress up once or twice a year for special occasions, my day to day ware is very neutral. I never wear heals... ever and I never wear make-up. I like jewellery but find it annoying so I only wear my wedding ring, though in the last year I have started wearing ... |
