How fitting that my very first post is in this thread! Some questions I had were: How can I have ADHD-I when I am so routine-based and orderly? Why am I always called an as*hole just because I tell it like it is? I thought people liked honesty... I turn down invites from friends for activities that...

I totally understand what you mean. I get this a lot from my partner. We fight over it loads. I pick her up on a word. A semantic. I dont get her sarcasm. I then try, in great detail to explain why I did what I did. And that just makes her even more cross. Eg. She worries about looking massive. (she...

I tend to over explain and get VERY tied up in the semantics of words. Words are very important to me and they have clearly defined meanings. I really struggle if people use the wrong word in conversations or say one thing and don't mean what they say. I often get in to trouble (arguments) about the...

I don't know if i am the only one here who suffers this, but I really struggle with authority. To give you an example, I got really angry last night because my wife asked me to turn down the radio when I was in the bath. It made me feel controlled, upset, resentful and wishing that I lived on my own...

I have a favourite chair at work. I find it and move it to my favourite computer. If I can't get it it doesn't set me up well for the day. I also have a mug and only use that mug. My iPhone is like my crutch and I keep it with me at all times. Checking email and checking rss feeds gets somewhat addi...

You work for Apple...you are the enemy...(jk) :P I'm a geek with an inherent dislike of Apple and my partner is in iPhone support at Orange. [heh, apples and oranges] I'm sure I read somewhere about apple actually being autism/aspie-friendly employers, but trying to find "Apple+Asperger's" via a we...

Pace, jump, run, walk, daydream all the time. A lot of my day dreaming is about relationships with people and born out of intense loneliness. Sometimes I have fantasies where I achieve great success and get my revenge on everyone who I felt ever rejected me. These later fantasies are pretty unhealt...

I currently work in an Apple Store in the UK... It is only intended o be a temporary post... I got made redundant from a 12 year teaching post in July 2010 and this was only supposed to tide me over....
They are "interested" in how i am at the moment.... rather than being judgemental.
