There are a number of polygamist communes where I live, and what I have seen has not been good, especially for the children. Polygamy i...

I was raised Mormon, but wouldn't consider myself one anymore. Is there something you would like to know?

I bought a Macbook Pro for school and have been having trouble with it ever since. I would avoid Apple products altogether. As I recently found out, Apple only has a 3 day return policy (yes, I said 3 DAY). And support coverage only lasts 3 months, after that you have to pay.

FLAC is my preferred format, so I'm thinking about trying it out. I just haven't gotten up the courage to replace th...

CTR stands for Choose the Right. CTR rings are similar to those "What Would Jesus Do" bracelets people wore for a while. They are supposed to remind the wearer to be righteous. The "No Caffeine Thing" is part of a code called The Word Of Wisdom, which is a group of health guidelines the Mormon churc...

The most important thing to note about the MP3 format is that it compresses by cutting the high end of the frequency range. Since distortion is created by adding harmonics (extra frequencies that are multiples of the fundamental frequency) MP3s are going to give you artifacts in areas of distortion....

Well, I'm more in to albums than songs. So I'll talk about my favorite / most underrated albums I have somehow come across. I don't think any of these guys are particularly well known, but I may be wrong. Quicksilver Messenger Service - Happy Trails (1968) QMS were one of the pioneers of the psyched...
