I am scared of wrists including my own. I get anxiety thinking about them and touching them or having them touched really sets me off and I can't really breathe and have to press them into my sides till they go numb. I know, it's a problem!

I quit my therapy because I don't have the confidence to deal with the attention I got from seeking help. I was told I really needed therapy but I couldn't feel any positive effects from it and I felt like a waste of their time.

I venture out to do shopping at nearly 11pm when the shop is emptier and nearly closing. I hate paying bills and dread anything going wrong that takes extra effort. I get a lot of anxiety and can't get a paid job. I wouldn't call myself independent but I suppose I am for doing those things. I do how...

I know everyone always says "Life is short" but to me my life has felt ever so long. I'm only 22 but it seems to have just dragged on and on. I find so many things hard and life is very difficult. I wondered if others with AS etc feel the same way?

I know exactly what you are going through. I survived self harm. I have terrible scars but I have been free for a couple of years now. I don't feel much happier than I did at your age but I have healthier ways to cope. I had a friendship that sounds like yours with Lisa. I can tell you it was a harm...

I have suicidal meltdowns, and they really scare me. Normally I have a bad one every year. By bad I mean it's unbearable to breathe. I suffer with depression all the time inbetween. I don't know how I cope but I do somehow. I know I wouldn't if it wasn't for the amazing support of my boyfriend. My l...

My latest one is morbid but I try to raise awareness of unidentified Jane Does. I've made 18 videos so far on youtube. I try to find out why I am drawn to each obsession, and this one I think is because I have no friends and am maybe feeling connected to these women and am trying to help them withou...

My mum was abusive my whole childhood. I managed to move into a hostel at 17 but she has sort of tried to forget the past. She hasn't apologised, she likes to blame my dad and her own childhood. She also likes to call me ungrateful etc to the rest of my family. It hurts so see her, I wish I didn't h...

1) Are you single or married? How do you feel about it and why? I have been with my highschool sweetheart for over 7 years now. He is amazingly understanding and has put up with me a lot, even understanding my strange bisexual feelings and he let me experiment to find out for sure (he didn't like it...

I am bisexual but I think mostly out of confusement with socialness in general. I have had straight and lesbian sex. I don't find either very easy but that's just me with everything and everyone!

I was certainly stage 1 at school because I wasn't trying to act normally, I was completely in my head. These days I am more conscious but it is very hard to fit in. I do try even though it doesn't look like it most of the time. I don't believe AS is something that can be grown out of.

Metal spoons touching each other or falling on a hard floor. It makes my back arch and my teeth tingle. I can't stand it and I couldn't eat at school because it would happen so much!
