It was just a remark, an observation about myself . It wasn't "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice"! ! I see it's not just my habits dying hard either. Here you are in the habit of thinking emotionally fragile women everywhere are still bleating for your attention. FYI I'm not bleating a...

For the last few nights I have lulled myself to sleep to the sounds of structure fires and trapped residents being radioed in to firecomm. I'm anxious to hear about wowserboy's house (and his welfare too). He's chosen to stay and defend. I'm not confident to be honest :|

I was looking at two houses backing onto a railway line. The traffic on the line was minimal though, maybe 2 freighters and the interstate passenger train 4 times a day (twice northbound and twice southbound).

Despite hardly posting here anymore I still find my eyes diverting straight to the PM inbox with every page change/refresh. I'm not even expecting a PM :|

-2. Lots of bushfires around. 3 died, 150 homes gone. I've forgotten what fresh air and clear blue skies are like :| The fire front of one is only 2km away from Wowserboi's house. Personally I think I'll be ok, unless a wayward ember blows this way and this place is The one place to catch on fire in...

Does anyone here remember Fizz (The Outspoken)? She seems to have been pretty much completely forgotten by the membership, which is a bit surprising as she was a moderator. I remember her for her posts, and perhaps also because she was a fellow Mancunian. I remember her and IIRC she stopped posting...

A one bedder is a good start, but even as a single person with no kids you will eventually find yourself needing to upsize as you accumulate more 'stuff' and start wishing for space to indulge in special interests. I started in a 2 bedroom terraced unit 8 years ago and I'm currently yearning to upgr...

Kinda reminds me of how my car's headlights look like they're flickering when captured in video when they're actually not flickering at all (can't remember if they're HID's or LED's)

The 15 years I've spent working for you is a regret, not an achievement.

I woke up late and had a slow start. Went to Bunnings to buy more paint brushes and went cruising around a bit. Went out again to get groceries and thought I'd have some time before a storm hit but I didn't and I had to race the car back to the shopping centre's undercover parking complex, leaving m...

The hospital put off my mum's knee surgery for another month, AGAIN.

If she gets it done on 18th Nov like they've rescheduled to, she will now spend Christmas stuck at home convalescing.
