Thanks for the poll responses. Please keep them coming! FYI, I'm not a doctor or a scientist in medicine, so forgive me if I don't use the right terminology. Please use this post as a starting point for further research. I'll try to describe my understanding of migraines as best I can. Migraine head...

I'm interested to know if Autism and Aspergers people are more likely to have migraines than the general population. I'm fortunate to be associated with people studying migraine headaches, and the characteristics that cause Autism/AS may be the same as those that cause migraines. Please aswer yess i...

This is a quote from The Big Short , by Michael Lewis. Mr. Lewis is quoting Dr. Michael Burry, who has been diagnosed with AS. I had a very similar experience, which lead me to question my sanity, which lead me to this forum. I thought I would share the quote with you. If you've had a similar experi...

For starters, I'd recommend the essays of Stephen Jay Gould. He wrote an essay a month for the Journal Natural History, for 300 straight months. They should be available in the local library.

The Origin of Species is a classic and worth reading as well.

Yo Brandon, Yes you have AS. That makes you very lucky, but it also means you have some hard work ahead. The real world is a vibrant, beautiful, complicated, wonderful, dangerous, exciting mess. Learn to embrace it. If you can't see a purpose in life, it means you have the opportunity to create one ...

First post everybody. I'm very new to AS and NT, so I'm still struggling with the basics. The first one is why the range of social behavior runs from normal to AS. Is there such a thing as over-socialized, beyond NT? Example 1, I would argue that any AS, when presented with the evidence, would agree...
