I have a hard time staying engaged with most books about AS or Autism but I really like just about anything that Temple Grandin has written. Her writings are very practical and her life story is exceptional!

Thanks for the input on this- looking forward to more. I am in a quandary as well- at 45, is it worth it? Pros and cons both ways but not sure if I can justify the cost for the 'official' diagnosis. It wouldn't change anything but if diagnosis is positive, it would explain a lot of what I went throu...

I suspect Asperger's (fit most of criteria) and have we have a 19 yo son with PDD-NOS and is lower functioning than Asperger's (needs some assistance). I came here to see if others have similar experiences and difficulties as I had when I was younger.
