Well, the first thing you do to get into work like that is to live in or near a big city. That's where you're going to find offices of hundreds of lawyers and equal numbers of support staff. (If I knew where you live, this would be easier. I could probably even make specific recommendations of offi... |

Sheldon! As many have mentioned, Leonard is far too normal. I'm no expert on physics, but I think that a keen interest and the ability to display great patience would mean Sheldon would be interesting to spend time with, rather than insulting. I mean, I know how it is to interract with people less i... |

That's good advice. The only thing I'd add is that in the modern digital world some authors are having some success bypassing the publishing houses and going straight to things like Kindle. This might be especially good for niche markets, I've thought of writing fiction specific to gamers and tryin... |

I did it. He was indeed considering the possibility of being an Aspie. Unfortunately, he doesn't want an official diagnosis, having fears it would prevent him running for a government position, something he has always wanted to do, but... No matter, I suppose it's good enough even if he is self diag... |

I once was helping someone out with a menial task - they required me to sort forms into stacks of 25 sheets, binding them together with an elastic band. I found it incredibly relaxing and in fact really enjoyed it, despite it being, I realise, incredibly repetitive and boring. Having finished all th... |

If I encounter a new idiom it can be confusing, yes, but I've found that if you commit the true meaning to memory it isn't so difficult. In fact, some of them can be interesting and quite amusing. I've never really got into a big deal of trouble over taking things literally, but it has resulted in s... |

I've always been quite interested in writing and my childhood dream "job" was to be an author. However, I must admit I'm not really too sure about the whole process. Does anyone know how exactly you would go about the whole process of 'becoming an author'? I'm sure that the obvious first step would ... |

Why not do it? I suppose the ultimate reason is to convey respect, but I do respect my parents and occasionally call them by their first names rather than "mum" or "dad". If you really want to do it and you mean no harm, simply refer to the manner in which parents occasionally call their children by... |

When making eye contact is deliberate rather than natural, it can be very hard to gauge how much eye contact is appropriate, even if one is not actually staring. I find myself trying to remember to glance at someone's eyes when they are talking, and it actually distracts me from what they are sayin... |

Do you really think a public employee has your best interest at heart over a qualified professional In the UK all practicing doctors are qualified professionals. Very highly qualified. This is one way of avoiding wealthy, private medical corporations getting into a scrabble for money instead of dea... |

This isn't the time for me to rant about privatised health care, but seeing a post like this just enrages me! Mental Health is something that shouldn't be privatised, damnit. If you were in the UK it would be no problem. But that isn't what you want to hear. When I was diagnosed, there was a series ... |

I'm able to make eye contact when I'm comfortable, unfortunately this is never when I'm in the presence of health officials or other authorities, and so it gives off the impression I abstain from eye contact entirely. Because of this, often people will ask, no, command me to "look at them" and I gro... |

Excuse me for the necropost... I can see that they seem to have done this on purpose as the afforementioned and quoted scientist is indeed "evil". But that's not my problem. My problem overall is the media use of savant autists. I mean, yes, it's a brilliant plot device and it can make an interestin... |

That's what annoyed me about facebook games, I even made a seperate account for them because the sheer number of notifications was whelming. I've been playing since roughly 2004, but this account I'm using is from 2007. Recently I've been quite active, though. Logging on every day. I'm interested in... |
