And you're right about all of it. I was allowed and encouraged to come anytime, but after that I wouldn't have been caught dead doing it. My parents thought I was a virgin up until I got pregnant with my first, they never heard about any boyfriend. I remember calling my mom from college after...

>>>My mother misunderstood me when I asked "how people make babies" That is exactly why I think a big *big* key is just being careful to answer the questions the child is actually asking and letting them know the door is always open for more questions if they would like. I do plan to *now* (at age 1...

Hi! I'm also new here... and also a homeschooling mom. We aren't new to Aspergers though... my oldest is 14yrs and was diagnosed when he was about 8yrs old. I believe I have Aspergers as well... and we are thinking my 4 yr old may wind up with a spectrum diagnosis someday. I have three other kids as...

Thanks for the welcomes! Carseat 'Best Practices' as in not the 'minimum recommendations' for safety... but the practices that are actually considered to be best by carseat experts. Such as not turning the carseat forward facing at the 'minimum' one yr old and 20 pounds... but keeping them rearfacin...

Hi... just joined and honestly I'm terrified to be here. I truly believe I have Aspergers and I have one son (14yrs old) that is diagnosed with Aspergers... but we are both fairly 'functional' around NTs. I almost feel like we are 'cheating' to join a forum like this... like we don't belong. However...
