I feel like I know exactly what you mean, though what exactly do you mean when you say that you are worried that you would start loving someone for something they are not? Don't worry about not being able to sweep a girl off her feet, that sort of stuff (in metaphorical terms, not literally sweeping... |

I hate sitting/standing still, I've really got to use my feet. If I'm sitting down, I usually don't spin around because I am at a task, but I will spin a little bit while doing all sorts of things with my feet, as long as I can still see the computer screen. When standing I either have to walk in ci... |

Ditto what you've said mostly. Bullying problems in the earlier years, but all has stopped once becoming a senior. Meltdowns still a problem, not so much with assignments but some of the idiotic decisions that senior management make, or the school computers not working. Teachers are nice, and it's g... |

I normally find that I notice the fact I have entered a meltdown, without being able to fix it. Then I can't think clearly, and that's the part that makes me most angry, further exaggerating the meltdown. Physically, I find that my symptoms are just related to anger, clenched fists, tights muscles e... |

I know what you mean. It's almost as though you feel a social responsibility to be sad. The same thing happened when my grandad died, I knew I should feel sad, but I just... didn't. The physical manifestations could have just been the food, but it could be that you are sad, but don't quite know how ... |

I've liked this girl for a few months now, but have really struggled to talk to her (which is typical of me, have struggled to talk to crushes all my life) However, over the few months, rather than those feelings going away (as they usually do) they have just gotten stronger. So I started making an ... |

Hey all I thought that the first mass opposition to a large-scale war was the Vietnam war because of the TV coverage showing the destruction first-hand, but subsequent research has not backed this up. What war was it that TV first covered, greatly increasing opposition and protest to war? I thought ... |

Hey all Am doing things in economics at the moment related to price elasticity of demand, and my query mainly lies with cross elasticity of demand. Is cross elasticity of demand solely limited to price? Another name for it is cross-price elasticity of demand but I wonder if that has just been coined... |

I wonder if your dad just asks you these questions because he is looking for an excuse to talk to you
Remember, neurotypicals don't do things on face value, he probably doesn't give two hoots about your tax tips, he just wants a conversation. |

Our whole topic for Media Studies this year is New Zealand film, from producing to analysing and all inbetween. Now, film is not my forté. Last year Media Studies was devoted around print media, which is more my area of expertise. My teacher is great but like all people, has an agenda and their own ... |

ditto that you can't take them all I guess, sort of have to choose which ones are best. Don't take it hard. When you think about it every decision we make is taking an opportunity, and discarding many others. So it makes sense that you would notice the missed ones, there are just so many more of the... |

I know they sound completely unrelated, as Retalin is to stop me bouncing off walls yet my Aspergers is what makes my social skills strained, but bear with me :P When I wasn't on Retalin, part of the immense distraction was that as soon as anyone talked to me, I would not be able to get back onto my... |
