Sounds about right. Not sure how much I actually practice Machiavelli's philosophies in real life, but he's pretty useful in Assassin's Creed... |

Nathalie, I have in the past valued other people's friendship more than they valued mine. There's almost always a disparity between how people see each other. But if you're uncertain as to whether she considers you a friend at all, then that's cause for some careful evaluation. For me, the very basi... |

It's definitely possible to block just one person on facebook. It happened to me once, so I sympathize, passionatebach. However, if the friendship actually matters to you (for whatever reason), then I would simply ask him why. There's always a chance that it isn't about you, or (like others have sug... |

I don't have a good answer to that question, but I can say that it hasn't improved mine. The same type of f***-ups I make in person, I've also made on Facebook. Maybe worse even. Because without real-time feedback of the appropriateness or inappropriateness of my diatribes, I go off in directions th... |

I'd say I have a couple of close friends. A few work friends as well that I can hang out with. But people use the words "friend" and "acquaintance" a little too interchangeably for my taste. I suppose it helps that "friend" has fewer syllables, and is thus easier to pronounce in casual conversations... |

you should judge a man on how he treats his lessers, not his equals. Truer words have never been spoken. In these situations I like to bust out a quote from my favorite animated series: "The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed." I understand your frustration and your ange... |

Yes, deadeyexx, that's exactly how I feel too. Not just in conversation, but in life in general. Do too much or nothing at all. Can't seem to find the in-between. I always question everything I say, so I tend to fall on the "talk less" side as much as possible. Sometimes out of worry of speaking ina... |

I know exactly how you feel, even though the scores of similar examples I have currently escape me. Really, what can you do? Damned if you do and damned if you don't, am I right? But realize this. Nothing you can say will change their outlook on the topic when you are in that situation. Especially i... |

As someone who has next to no ability to show restraint, I have no useful advice for you. But I would suggest considering that so much is lost through written communication, especially these days when people aren't taught all that well how to write. I'm not suggesting that you misinterpreted anythin... |

Hi all, I'm not sure if I have AS or not, so I don't even know if it's appropriate for me to post here. But a lot of stuff has happened lately that's made me wonder, and the more I read about AS, the more things start to make sense. Maybe I'm just awkward. Hard to tell. This seems like a relatively ... |
