GABA = placebo It doesn't cross the blood - brain barrier so there is no possible way it could directly knock you out. Read the pharmacology and science yourself. There is eveidence it increases growth hormone levels if taken in high doses which is why body builders use the stuff. Seriously, do the ... |

Why not look to a specialist ? Look down every avenue possible if it might help figure out what you need. |

I don't think you can really "become" and extrovert. Act like one perhaps if you really want to, but a friend of mine recently posted an article about introverts not really needing to be fixed and simply surrounding yourself with the kind of friends that fit who you are. Here's the article and you c... |

Sorry we're not telling you what you want to hear, but everyone responding had lived it from one side or the other. If your plan is to make excuses and pretend that's your business, but you brought it to a public forum and every single person is telling you something very similar based on first pers... |

WHAT ?!?! A woman with a past involving an alcoholic abusive father living with and making excuses for violent abusive behavior from a spouse or boyfriend ?? Shocking ! Who'd have thought... I know I sound like a grade A D-bag, but I lost patience with "but I love him" a very long time ago. Go ahead... |

I've followed the whole thread so far. I've had PLENTY of meltdowns some for compunded stress on top of compounded stress, some for just letting myself stay on the same frustrating task for too long, a few for minor things that make no sense to have melted down over later. They may be par for the co... |

I sometimes do that and have to remind myself to just back off and try to find some sort of balance. Then there are those times I hit the nail dead on with very little to go on. Those are eerie and I have no idea how it happens. Sort of a "look how regular people act in social settings and try to ac... |

I chalked it all up to personality disorder instilled by crappy parents. Then a friend pointed out to me that she thought I had AS and it was a flashbulb moment. It explains all of the things the personality disorder did, many things it didn't plus things I had never really thought about muvh but th... |

That's not a simple meldown, that's outright abuse. Directing it AT you crosses the line into abuse. AS or not
you have no business taking that from him. Neurological impairment isn't a license to treat people like emotional
punching bags. . |
