Lmao, been a restaurant manager for 16 years - at points I've trained and opened restaurants - you're right though, it's a terrible job for an aspie. I could be a great actor now I guess as well as I've learned not to act aspie. |

I believe I've gotten much better with age - but I'm not myself - by better I mean I can mimic those I find socially gifted enough to seem 'normal' - when I tell people I have AS these days no one believes me. I would love to be myself and be accepted, but I haven't found a role in life I can fit th... |

I quite sure that any woman worth a damn wouldn't give a two monkey's f**k about the height as long as the man matched her closely in heart, desire, interest so on and so forth. |

Maybe the single ones don't think you are interested and the married ones don't care. I am NT and my boyfriend is AS. Him being AS is not an issue for me but some of his behaviors... Even though I do know "why" really get to me at times. He is not an overly sexual person but that didn't come out un... |

Neither. Aspie men and woman don't try hard enough. You will find people who are accepting but we don't help ourselves. This, this, a thousand times this. I've had women throw themselves at me and I was clueless it was happening or talked myself out of believing it was happening and nothing became ... |

These are good tips, although I believe you shouldn't have to give up your hobbies in order to better yourself (however nerdy they are); the key here is moderation. If you do nothing but sit and play games all day then that's a problem (just as doing anything to that degree would be), but in itself... |

I'd like to hear what some of you have done to overcome and become more social and gets dates. A few things I did: 1. Got in shape and started a workout routine - does wonders for confidence - joined a 24 hour gym and went at 3 in the morning to start - read about it intently on the internet and got... |

You are correct Fox, I explained it incorrectly.
Frustration and anger occur, but you can choose to find solutions or choose to express both in unproductive ways.
Thanks for noticing that and clarifying. |
