Heh, when I was in school I was like "STOP TALKING TO ME!!" and preferably stop talking at all. And even more preferable - stop existing.
And now I'm like "someone talk to me please..." |

I always just reply with what I think. They asked me what do I think, don't they? In your example my answer would be something like "You look good/bad/moderate in this picture, and picture in itself is good/bad" And maybe I give some explanation - why I think it is good/bad. If that person is angry ... |

I was like that before. Now i just do not care. And I know atleast one such "friendly and outgoing" person. Well maybe not always happy. But definitely friendly and outgoing. And this is just what she is. Her nature. She likes being friendly and outgoing, not because of some social ladder, but becau... |

Is it really that important to know if you have asperger or not?.. If you are a child - then yes, of course it is very important, but as an adult? When I learned about asperger it was just.. interesting. I was like "wow, there are alot of people who behave like me, and they even got a name for it!".... |

Any advice on how to cope with changes like this? First - I'd go explore this new city. This will feel more like traveling and less like sudden change in life. And in meantime you will get somewhat accustomed to the situation. Second - engage in some familiar routine. In my case it can be my notebo... |

I don't communicate with people that much, to get tired of it, but yeah. Questions like "what happened" and "Are you having a bad day?" etc are pretty common. |

To self-diagnosed aspies: have you considered DIY electroconvulsive therapy as a cure? You can take two electrical wires and wrap them around your head, then plug them into the mains. If you're going to self-diagnose, you might as well self-medicate too. This is stupid. What can you suggest to peop... |

I think I'm lucky, I never experienced something like what you all describing. When, for example, many people talking to me at once, and when it is too much I just.. mm. shut myself. Everything becomes white noise and for a few minutes I get this very weird feeling, like 3d person view, except there... |

It's perhaps more correct to say that aspies tend to follow rules. The problem is - aspies often don't know well enough what the rules are in any given situation. Aspies follow the rules, but this rules is often very different from other people's rules. In the result aspies often lie, when there is... |

Someone can be born and raised in a loving home and still have AS, yes. But would an NT who grew up in an abusive home also, perhaps, end up with the same end results as someone with AS? They can have many similar traits, I think, but difference is - they can go to psychologist and after some time ... |

Actually ability to lie is one of the main advantages of the intelligent life forms - we can lie, manipulate and deceive others to our advantage. This is one of the main reasons why we evolved ability to Reason. |

I don't know what they are thinking, so I have no idea are they underestimating me or not. And how could I possibly know this? |
