I like getting outside and testing my eyes, equipment, and finding skills. If you want pretty pictures, go to NASA's website. It's also a very topical social experience if you go to a star party. Equipment, objects and science are the basis of most conversations, and little things like eye contact a...

70/72

Strange that it was that high. By now I recognize what questions are doing to scores, but I was still brutally honest and disagreed on about 5 traits. I like the correlation to specific criteria, although how it greened areas I answered "sometimes" to is a bit weird.

Just jumping in, I have an 8" Zhumell dob and a 4.5" Orion dob. I really haven't used them for awhile, since I've been too busy to drive around and my backyard is light-polluted (local and skyglow) as well as surrounded by trees. My renewed interest in astrophysics and the approaching summer vacatio...

I want to be able to make that choice on a case-by-case basis. Right now I can't really converse well, so when I want to hang out with some people it doesn't go well. I just want to develop better social skills so I can have a few friends.

I would take my lunch and go eat outside to avoid having to be around people, regardless of whether it was -20C outside or not  The only thing I hate more than that crowded cafeteria is the cold, and it's against the rules to eat outside for some reason, so when it's not freezing, I force myse...

GNOME 3 is supposedly much more configurable if you want a Unity-type shell with more options; I'll try it out soon. I noticed last night that Unity really fails when you have lots of stuff open at once, since my Saturday night usually involves a large amount of browsers, terminals, and text editors...

Um, what do they mean, my generation is introverted and hates being around other people? I can see the low attention span, and I'll agree that TV is probably a big part of it, but they're incredibly social, talking to each other at every chance or texting when distance or teachers won't allow it. I ...

I'm surprised there isn't a thread yet...what does everyone think of the new Ubuntu? Do you love Unity, or did you switch back to regular GNOME in the first few minutes? Did the upgrade wreck anything? Any other tweaks to comment on? Personally, I like Unity because it frees up so much screen space ...

I personally think smoking things is disgusting, and the purported effects of pot don't appeal to me much. I also don't want to become psychologically dependent on anything, since I've shown in the past that I easily fall into rituals and have a really hard time going back to normal. I support legal...

I stopped sucking my thumb at about 10, since my teeth were going way out of line. I keep my hands near my mouth, especially when I'm stressed out, and I also notoriously chew the collars and sleeves of my shirts, just like my cousin, who has HFA. It's become a family joke that I'm the only one who ...

Interesting, but I'm still a little wary of a distributed network handling money. Of course, it's probably very secure and maybe even harder to hack than a central bank, but I would have to look for holes myself before trusting it. Also, there seem to be very few places it can be used for now, but t...

100% (60/60) on the end of year Biology test. :D . The whole school knows since the girl on the next computer told everyone, which I kinda hate because of the random compliments I have no idea how to respond to.

Nice weather is obviously best, but cold is my favorite of the extremes. Aside from the cold feeling better, you can also block out the cold with coats. No such solution to heat.

Independence Day, which is so much fun nothing else matters.
Revenge of the Sith, even though I hated the other prequels.
Shrek 3, although I didn't like it as much as the first two.
Cars (meh, it wasn't horrible).
Mr. Bean's Holiday, why was that considered bad? :?
