I'm wondering if anyone knows of any theologians or religious leaders that were likely to have had Aspergers? It seems that I can find plenty of scientists or engineers that are either diagnosed aspies orlikely aspies, but I can't think of any aspie theologians. The thing is that I have little inte... |

My goal for when it comes to having relationships with women is to have "played the field" extensivelly. Meaning I'd like to be an experienced guy with lots and lots of women (yes I do mean sexually but all that comes with that also). I'd like to have achieved this by the time I'm 25 (I turn 23 in ... |

I know how hard it is, Mordy. It took me a long time to learn, too. We have to learn this stuff intellectually. I know. And I am trying to help you. Read all of my posts - the first, alone, is somewhat misleading. The real tragedy is that by the time they realize it (if they ever do get out of thei... |

My current theory is that small talk serves the purpose of determining how predictable you are. Unpredictability frightens people, as they assume that the errant person could be dangerous. If you're able to maintain small talk, the other person will feel more at ease. Small talk is a social fitness... |

Heres another thing. Realistically, how many of us have enough money to start something like this in America? Its more logical to take our money where the USD is worth more, thus making us wealthy and able to afford anything we need/want. Realistically....how many of us have any money? Most countrie... |

:) gee -- you two --- tell me how you really feel! I knew even as I was posting this that I was opening myself up to take some hits. I pretty much know what makes sense for me: The situation doesn't compute and his proposal is a bit like a child's, trying to make his wrong a right and trying to mak... |

Whenever any of you makes the claim that all girls/women are like this , or that , you are utterly wrong. The way that women treat you is more a reflection on yourself than on the gender itself; just as the way that men treat me says more about me than the male gender. Sorry guys; it's not them; it... |

Hello All. I am VERY new to Blogging, etc...and new to this site as well. My basic question is what is the best way to tell your child that he has aspergers? My beautiful, wonderful, smart, beloved 5 year old son has the disorder and we are struggling to figure out when or if we should tell him mor... |

The problem is with the question: You're anthropomorphizing an entity you don't understand.
It only seems clever to simple minds. You're trying to apply naturalistic logic to a godlike entity. It's a nonsensical statement. |

How can anyone know for sure? The bible was written by men, just because men claim a book they wrote was from god, doesn't mean it is! How many nutcases on the street claim to be jesus and we simply ignore them? Somehow people think an old book written by greedy men for political domination of the ... |

? I've always had a thing for tall guys.. hooking up with a short guy would just be weird.. (anything under 6 foot is short) It's your genetic preference, I think you should try doubting your senses and dating someone s little shorter. It annoys you because it's inborn but you've never allowed forc... |

I think with both, I usually think in "full motion video" dialogues, like I'm watching myself in my minds eye converse with myself. I 'simulate' audio/visually in my mind when I think. I think like when we watch a movie. |

The illusion of choice is the problem. If a person dies because a cement truck runs a red light and flattens them in their Ford Focus, not many people would harp on the fact that they choose to die by not also driving a cement truck. In the scheme of things suicide is the precise same situation any... |

What is the point in debating the existence of god/gods or even picking whether you believe or disbelieve? I submit to you that it is pointless to claim belief or disbelief in deities and argue whether they exist or not. Discuss. No point in debating the existence of (god / creator / aliens / etc) ... |

I've been on friendly terms with this guy for years, but never felt the slightest inkling of attraction to him. Lately, he's started giving me gifts and inviting me places; a few nights ago, he confessed that he's been attracted to me the entire time that he's known me, and fantasizes about 'cuddli... |

Barring some genuine medical condition, Are suicidal people responsible for their deaths? I ask this question because on another form people are talking about "triggering" or "causing" people to suicide. and I'm thinking "what a crock of s**t!" I view things logically (obviously, one of the best asp... |
