Im somewhat embarrased by the intensity of my obsessions, some might want to keep private for various reasons, not very outward towards people either and don't just up an offer informations about myself to them. |

Yep for me it's sensory overload too, the people the low humming noise of their conversations and movments, their constant bombardment of my personal space, the noise too that invades my personal space, it's like an assault on my senses. |

I do that, I can do it for hours, listening to the same album over and over or the same song. Im not diagnosed AS but it's been something I've done since I was very young. I've noticed a lot of people on this reply talked about withdrawing into themselves is this an aspie/autism state, because I've been doing it all my life. Hi littlelilly, I just took the Aspie-quize and printed it off, I am going to look into if further. Id love to find a support group in my area. Isn't there a comfort zone in having the diagnosis, knowing that you don't have to change you don't have to "try" to fit in and bringing awarness to those around you so they may understand you better? |

I took he pdd test and got a 66 and took the aq test and got a 33. So symptoms are on the mild or high funtioning side. |

Hmmm I've been told that I was a babbler, that I baby talked until 2 then had trouble with sentences, but by the time I was in school and communicative, I was able to do ok juyst not a child of many words.. I have much trouble putting feelings into word, emotions especially, then putting my thoughts... |
