| As an Aspie, I find it awkward to have to make the small talk. I'm not interested in what others have to say unless I chose to ask them for the information or there is a specific reason to comment on something. The rest is pointless. I have felt that there are people with whom there is such a thing... |

| Most NT people believe that sharing the space with someone without talking to each other is awkward and that’s why they choose small talk over silence. It comes quite easy to them to do so, too. |

Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory), but I'm sure he wouldn't want to be friends with me  And I think I speak the same "language" with Phoebe (Friends).
But if there was anyone in the real world like Frank in Erich Maria Remarque's "The Dream Room", I would love to be close to them! |

| I pity the people in India which have any kind of disorder. Can you imagine someone always forbidding you to be YOU? How frustrating would that be? We still have that kind of ignorance and rigidity also in Romania (not everywhere, but some of us still live in the communist period), but I was fortuna... |

| I don't know if it's the case for those you've heard using that word, but in my friends' case it's supposed to be a joke. Not a good one, obviously, but still a joke. So they know the meaning of the word, it's just their way of teasing "the adult in the relationship". |

| He's a man, so you should be practical. No man that I know would be receptive to a phrase like "I'm here if you need me", even if it's sincere. An honest "I'm sorry" should do. You should be practical and create the context where, if he feels like it, he could talk about what's going on in his mind.... |
