Thanks for the replies guys. It seems like you're okay with being who you are, which is something I've seen in the few other people I've known in real life who have AS. They seemed comfortable with it and confident enough to talk about it sometimes. It's strange... I never really had a problem with ...

Why do we conform? To please others? To please ourselves? I'm not sure I can answer that question :o I do however, think that conforming to the standards of others is dysfunctional. Whether it be family, a spouse, a social group, breaking your own moral, ethical, or social standards to comply with s...

I guess it's just hard because I want to identify with having ADD or maybe Asperger's or just a regular person with these tendencies and I can't tell what I am. It irritates me that these disorders are so grey and not black and white. I guess I'll learn how to deal, but I think the reason I want to...

ET is just a teacher, pointing in the direction of a truth that many others have discovered already. There are a lot of spiritual teachers out there, and they all share a common sort of knowledge and understanding about the nature of life. His ideas are not original, nor should they be taken literal...

Just as there are various classes to choose from in games such as warrior, thief, magician and archer, there are many kinds of people in this world. And just like the classes from the games, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, people with various forms of autism usually have very active and li...
