I get this too. My mom and family members tell me to "get over it" whenever I'm having a meltdown but I couldn't DARE say the same to them. :/ Same here, the standard response is, "just get over it", if I try to discuss it after the fact, they just say, "you'll just have to try harder, get over it ...

I used to work for a new technology company that was run by accountants, it was organised, efficient, minimal politics and how everything was done made sense to me.

My respect for accountants went up immensely.

I just say hey mate/chief/bro or whatever is suitable, than wait for the mental process to bring up their name and than use it at the next oppurtunity.

Though sometimes my filtering process only brings the options down to a couple of names :roll:

i had major issues with nightmares, sleep walking/talking/yelling/screaming from the age of 7 until i was 21, seemed to settle down once i was an adult, but i still sometimes wake up and the pillows are on the other side of the room.
