Yes I´ll go crazy if I can´t listen to music wherever I go. If I´m going anywhere and forget my mp3-player my world is very likely to collapse. I have actually cried a few times after forgetting/losing it. (It also protects me from all the distracting and annoying noise out there so it´s really vita...

I don´t have a problem with drunk people as long as they can behave themselves and try not to force it on me but I could never drink it myself and anyone who has had even one drink must not get too close to me because I cannot stand the smell.

Blue! It's been my absolute favorite since I was five. Before that it was purple lol Bizarre as it is? I'm exactly the same. :P Purple when I was a really little tacker, but from the age of five it's been blue. My favourite colour used to be blue when I was about 5. Now it´s purple. Am I going back...

I get an unusual pleasure from looking at anything coloured in the shade of indigo, purple or pink. When I see any object with those colours I find it hard to keep my eyes off of it. But to be honest I really dig all them colours.

We´ve been together for +10 years and now she is telling me that she can´t cope with my aspieness anymore because she realizes that I will probably never change (only learned about Asperger´s less then a year ago). But I have showed her that I can change my behaviour, my problem is that if I don´t ...

I get really disgusted and annoyed with many other sounds too. The main is people biting or picking at their nails. My best friend does this constantly and it just makes me want to smack her sometimes!! She does it while we're watching TV and as hard as I try, I just can't focus on what we're watch...

I definitely know how you feel, except I would probably be unable to hide it if it was my dad, since no one is as noisy as he when he eats. I remember when I first learned of misophonia it was such a relief. Everyone had always told me I just shouldn't be bothered by those noises and blaming me for ...

It sometimes makes me want to hurt myself having to hear people chewing with their mouths open, especially when they are eating some extra-noisy stuff like potato-chips. It also disturbs me when people sneeze, or when they don´t properly blow their nose when it´s dripping, but instead keep on making...

Well, now that I think of it, I guess thats how the so-called "ordinary" people would probably label me too.

Okay, so it's a trial separation right now, still serious of course, but maybe the door is open for you guys getting back together. Maybe give her a couple of weeks and then ask when it feels right. It would be a shame if you guys choose divorce if all you really need are separate vacations. And we...

Hi MrBoob You are not alone in finding yourself in this situation. I share a very similar situation. There is very little positive information about for AS/NT relationships. I have recently found a closed website, specifically dealing with AS relationships. The site has mainly mature members. Some ...

It´s been a while since I last posted because I ended up moving out and only recently got an internet-connection in my new place. So I am living by myself now for the first time in my life. I get to spend time with my kids as much as I want to which is great since they are pretty much the only human...

I´ve made a deal with them mosquitoes. I´ll leave them alone if they´ll leave me alone. It seems to work just fine. I do get bitten occasionally though but the bites never bother me, they don´t itch at all and the mark is always gone within few hours. They seem to love my wife and kids but I don´t n...
