Well, I am German, Really. One hundred percent. But I was not alive during the Third Reich, neither were my parents. My family and myself are certainly not accepting any responsibility for what was done by other people a long time ago and of course we do not feel guilty or anything like that. Why sh...

I cannot see a value for this topic in this discussion. Jewish people can live anywhere on the planet as this is a religion and not a nation. I have a different question for you to discuss: When people from the United States use the term America they certainly refer to the Unites States, not only ig...

I am in Japan in the Hokkaido area every year on a regular basis and I must insist that people there appear to be more beatiful in general. And yes, I would judge Japanese women being cuter than others. And I want to add that I have gone beyond the point where one would find every person looking the...

Something for a voting system. Like: IF (submitted vote gets above: 70 and is highest}{ Show the highest scoring vote, then the second highest scoring vote thats above 70 (or random submission) } else{ Show any random submitted vote that scores below the highest } This problem seems to be a standar...

It is not necessary to reason about the existence of something that is obviously created by invention or just pure imagination. As such, the concept of a God exists in our minds but this is it. We can try to find out why humanity created the notion of God in the first place but the mere fact is: Sci...

I know about the festival. Usually there is a lot of snow but I have never been there in winter time yet.

Sapporo is a nice city and the area around and Hokkaido in general is a very beatiful place. I can definitely recommend going there.

Yes, me too. When I was a child I enjoyed watching movies and the like. Later when I went through school I learned to "read between the lines". Now when I watch something all I see is obvious patterns and plots and it is not at all entertaining. Of course the good guys win, the bad guys loose, befor...

It is very obvious there is no god. Psychology has more than enough convincing explainations for why humans created the concept of god, gods, spirits, the duality of body and soul and all the other nonsense.

I have been to Japan several times (Sapporo, Hokkaido) and hope to go there again. I attempted learning Japanese several times but always stopped or failed that. What I can think about is learning a few phrases for touristic reasons but the language, especially the writing, is just too complex for a...

It is quite easy and straightforward to show the concept of "omnipotence" is a contradiction by itself. This simple fact is ignored by many people, especially those following a religion.

Eh, No! Potter is most certainly not aspie.

This is a quite disturbing idea, actually. Most likely I would have run amok, killed myself or both in such a residential school environment.

The new movie is totally erratic, especially the character of the "Mad Hatter". Strange enough, he is the only reason making the movie worth watching. There is no Alice story at all. If anything, I would recommend to read the book.
