From what I see the pro vaccine believers are just as rigid and inflexible in their thinking. I personally just dont care for the whole 'extremists' attitude regardless of the belief. Once someone becomes an extremist on any side of any issue it's like they pop bananas in their ears and are no long... |

liloleme.. your last post popped up while I was writing.. LOL On the topic of why people think autism is worse than cancer and all that.. I dont understand that either and I sooo agree with you that the media propaganda is just harmful here. If I had known what autism was i would have recognized it ... |

From my experience, the vaccine=autism believers tend to be very rigid and inflexible in their beliefs, at leas that's what I've seen online. I can't vouce for "the community" since I am not in an English speaking country and do not ever interact with other parents with autistic kids. From what I s... |

I used this book with Jordan and was very pleased with it. It uses simple games and fun activities to teach a child to sound out words to learn to read. Everything you need is in the book so you just copy a few pages to get the things you need as you go along and its all just playing games. http://w... |

Ok.. this is one thing I dont stress on too much. I was an extremely picky eater until my mid to late teens when peer pressure kicked in and I started trying new foods. As I child I would not try anything and would prefer to go hungry than eat something I did not want. I also still remember every si... |

Hello! I dont have much in the way of experience or knowledge with children and medications but I do have anxiety and OCD and have since childhood so that is where my opinion is coming from. :) If your child is relaxed and fine other than therapy than I would look into other therapy options. Therapy... |

Okay so Im reading that DWStuff book... Interesting stuff, but I must say that I dont know about the stress levels going up and up until the child explodes, in my sons case. He has 2 chores around the house, emptying his trash on sunday and getting the mail when he gets off the bus. He does his hom... |

Try going gluten free for a few weeks and see if that helps. The blood test is NOT accurate for testing for celiac. You can definitely have celiac and have a neg test. A biopsy is the only accurate way to test or you can try the diet and see if you symtoms are alleviated. But definitely do not rule ... |

I think it is unrealistic to expect that an 8 yr is able to understand her treatment by her brother is uncontrollable therefore she should like him bc he is her brother. You just dont get more illogical than that. If the boy cannot control himself the parents need to supervise their interactions clo... |

Changing cars is a major problem for me at 40 and I have been driving for years. My mom is in her 60s and this really causes her problems as well. Also, nerves will really make my driving skills go out the window. Also no chit chating and the radio may help for focus. And you may be approaching this... |
