I am reading a book called The Autism Prophecies by William Stillman. He talks about kids with autism and how they commonly have supernatural experiences. I think you should find it. |

When they make star wars decorations for the christmas tree.
You find yourself comparing them to Sheldon Cooper. |

He could be just stimming. I trace patterns all the time in my head. It's what we do! I'd get a new therapist. |

Does anyone else get visually distracted by patterns? I tend to trace things with my eyes or sometimes copy a pattern or shape with my feet. Eyes are probably the most common thing, I will follow the lines and count how many curves in my head. Most eyes have 6. Most things like TV's, computers, wind... |

I've always considered myself really nosy as I love to ask people about themselves. Some people get freaked out but usually NT's like to talk about themselves. I can't understand when someone wants to know something but is too afraid to ask. My hubby knows nothing of his maternal grandparents, he's ... |

If you want, say, your post for example, read and not skipped over, don't write an essay. No one has that much patience. Short and sweet is good! |

2 or 3 sounds really young to get an aspergers diagnosis. Obviously his impairment is quite profound to be noticed at such a young age. Maybe a second opinion is needed. From what I have learned it is not usually diagnosed until school age. Are your parents actively concerned for him? He may do well... |

I find my kids do that kind of thing too. We lived in a two storey house just for a few months where the living areas were on the top level. My son called it 'the achy leg house''. My daughter has a teddy that she has slept with since she was one. It's name? Teddy! We are wildlife carers and their f... |

My son heard someone sing "Í've got you under my skin" on TV one night. The next day on the way home from school he says "how can you have someone under your skin, they wouldn't fit in there!" He'd obviously been thinking about it all day. Yesterday he was bouncing around like ususal and junped onto... |

Hahaha i think most dads are the fun parent! They just keep coming back to me...... Once in Mcdonalds my daughter was busy telling me a story about a dog and she got down on all fours and barked like a dog. That was embarassing, I remember thinking aren't I supposed to be the one embarassing her! On... |

Thank you for the link Kiran. I think you may be onto something. I remember that as a baby she never crawled. She rolled around until she got where she wanted to be. She started walking at 14 months. She has trouble using a knife, brushing her teeth, cannot tie her shoelaces, her handwriting is mess... |

I went to ask my son's teacher a question. She answered me and I said "Oh OK." and turned to start leaving. Had to stop and turn back once I realized she was still talking to me. She went on for another 3 minutes about stuff I already know and didn't have anything to say about. I was wondering why ... |

I don't feel phsyical pain but lots of noise etc actually makes me dizzy and shaky. The supermarket does it to me especially if I take the kids with me and the constant talking and questions. I get irritable, it's a bit like hypoglycemia which has the same effect on me. Weird! Theres a shop I go to ... |

Manna, at four she was very sociable. These issues seem to have come on since she was around 6ish. I remember at playgroup I would lose her only to find she was on an other parents lap at the craft table. She had a wild temper though and would try to break down doors in a fit of rage. As a baby she ... |

When my now 10 daughter was 3 and saw her newborn baby brother naked for the first time she exclaimed after mock vomiting that 'gross he has a waggy bottom like a dog'. Hilarious.
When she was 2 she decided that my bra was called 'booby knickers' ...... |
