I do not think that a blanket statement can be made about Autistic Spectrum Individuals and the internet... my Sister and I (asperger's diagnosed) both spend a great deal of time on the internet, listening to music on our MP3 players and the like... and it is a NECESSARY part of our daily routine U... |

and modern technology. I really feel this is the cause of my extreme mental fatigue and chronic brain fog. For the past 10 years I've spent more hours than I can count surfing the internet, flipping from channel to channel, constantly checking my iphone, skipping from song to song on my ipod, binge... |

Autism is not caused by mercury, mercury poising and autism are nothing alike, statistics do not support a correlation between anything mercury related and autism, and chelation does not help. Autism rates sky rocketed as soon as mercury was added to vaccines. Now less mercury is being used in vacc... |

Oh, this happens to me all of the time. I am constantly misinterpreting people's instructions. The instructions have to be 100% clear or I won't understand. My mom's learned to deal with it by giving very specific and detailed explanations. Sometimes it's made for some humorous situations, though. ... |

I used to but it had some really bad effects on me. I don't think people like us weren't meant to use Marijuana. It just doesn't affect us the way it effects NT's. Probably cause our brains are wired differently. |

A lot of us here are the same. I hate talking to people too and it's hard to focus. Medication has little effect on me as well.
A lot of us also show very little emotion. You probably do have an Autism Spectrum Disorder. |
