It looks like a fantasy, a romantic comedy with an Asperger guy. A realistic plot line would have a guy sitting alone playing Minesweeper for the first half of the movie. In the second half he stares at a wall. it's late at night, and for some reason, after reading this, i've got the giggles. |

hmmm. i find that when i'm more stressed than is normal (overstimulated, overexposed etc) and i can't escape from people my thought processes begin to go crazy. if it's bad it reaches a point where i pace furiously, start banging myself against walls, swearing uncontrollably....anything in order to ... |

I think 'serious problems' means when overall throughout your life, your various impairments seriously affect you doing the things you want to with your life. (Bit of a mouthful that.) I could use myself as an example perhaps. A 'normal' person might be able to go out, socialise a bit, feel apprehen... |

I think you're using the word 'love' rather loosely. Perhaps you mean you only feel initially attracted to and preoccupied with, people under these terms? I can relate to this. I tend to feel attracted to and develop crushes on people that are unobtainable in some way or other. I guess in some ways ... |

I love to walk. In cities, along beaches, on top of mountains, anywhere, and especially around dusk, dawn, or in the middle of the night. |

This bothers me all the time - all these behavioural and language codes, 'double-speak', innuendo etc... that people use. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't lie in bed at night wondering, hang on a minute - what did they actually mean when they said...., did they mean this? or did they mea... |

Not me. I'm trying to be more independent. I sort of appear to be 'normal' but actually my life is a bit of a train wreck. I'm a dx aspie girl, and while I'm not that bad that I can't look after myself or live independently, I have a lot of problems. Haven't had a job for 2 years, but do now. Can't ... |

The "How you doin' today?" question. I'm not even sure if I should answer. It just rolls off peoples' tongues so casually. You're just meant to say "good" or "fine". I only learnt this recently, I had a tendency to answer, "Complete shite, my social worker just said..." and then I go into a big ran... |

I sing too. I can't not sing if there is music playing, but I tend to either sing inaudibly or in my head when other people are around. So, if you were a fly on my wall you would see me wandering around singing to all the TV commercials, kids programs, TV show theme songs, as well as music from my m... |
