I wasn't sure if I ought to post this in the work-related section, but it likely feels more like a rant. I had a good job in publishing. I had moved to the city and worked at a literary agency for a year. It was a dream. I've had a hard time. A really hard time. Such to the point that the notion of ... |

Yeah, bad/embarrasing memories are so vivid and they come back in cycles. Always the stupid stuff I've said and the incredulous or angry reactions I got back not expecting them at the time. Definitely feel it in the gut, sometimes I will go bright red with anger and shame. I know exactly what you m... |

When I was younger, stressful and anxious situations would cause me to start feeling pain in my abdomen. It felt like a hole was burning through my stomach and trying to reach my back. I definitely know what you're going through. Nowadays, whenever I get bad or negative thoughts or memories, they ma... |

Aspie-hug. I'm so, so very sorry to hear that you had to go through this. It really is horrible. You're here though, and this is just fantastic. Reading this, I identified with my own experience with repressed memories, and it's better than my grasp over words can allow to know that we're not alone. |

I know exactly how you feel. Or as much of how you feel as I can assume, as I am not you nor do I know you. I do, however, identify with what you've written here. There's not much that I can tell you that hasn't already been said here, from what I can see. I do know that despite how urgent or pressi... |

I know how you feel. Eventually, every one of my therapy sessions eventually became 45 minutes of me talking with no input. |

I'm still here, and doing well enough to be considered functional.
Double points, I'm a good friend. |

I can't stand the people at my job. Being a cashier, it's expected to come across idiots and the like. But, for f**k's sake: -I don't want to hear your stupid little jokes, they wouldn't be funny to me even if I weren't an Aspie. -Just because I don't smile as much as you see necessary doesn't mean ... |

I can't actually get to sleep unless I drink enough to pass out, or smoke an equal amount of pot. I just sit up in bed, tossing and turning. If I don't, the next thing that I know it's morning, and I have work in a few hours. |

Dear Family: You f****d up. Royally. You're all so f*****g clueless, counter-productive, and the years of abuse and neglect have left me feeling barely functional. I hate you all, and I feel that you are the reason that I'm alone and hate myself when the walls close in. You're the reason that I feel... |

Did you have any friends? Yes, and no. I knew plenty of people from grades prior, but did not really find any actual friends until much later on. My group of friends were older, and left school before I did. They did, however, teach me enough about socializing to find friends in my own grade up unti... |

It doesn't seem that I'm particularly sociable. I don't know how to speak without using terms or phrases that are deemed "big words", which I gather confuses many people that I come across. I don't think that I respond to situations in the manner that I am expected to, which seems to make me come ac... |

Evening, my name is Jon. Given name is Jonathan. I much prefer the former. I currently attend Orange County Community College, and hope to transfer to the School of Visual Arts in New York City to study cartooning. Accompanying facts: I am gay, a self-proclaimed, from a small city in New York State,... |
