Only being able to speak from personal experience/personal conversations for most people sex = intimacy, physical and/or emotional. Having sex after social interaction = emotional intimacy. This is increasingly true when dealing with us women and less true in men, all individuals vary. There is noth... |

Hi, I haven't been on in a very long time. Mostly due my tenancy to pretend autism happens to Other people lol... But here I am again : ) I've written here before asking how you stop loving someone. The answer was mostly Time. Today as is my custom I woke up made coffee and looked at my FB page. I d... |

Thanks again guys. Yea I tend to fall in love with my friends too but it's never been anything like this or so mutual in so many ways. My feelings are not a secret here but they are also not returned in all the same ways. Cherishing defiantly is mutual as are our interests and and joy in interacting... |

Thank you all, I should mention however, this is my one and only best friend... what else : p I don't know if I can take being really alone by giving up this relationship, a friendship, to avoid how I feel but this pain has been constant for at least two+ years. I can see in reality how a romantic r... |

I went back a ways an couldn't see this topic but to me it's quite relevant. How do you end an interest when there is no feasible reciprocation? How do you fall out of love? Is it possible to keep the other person as a friend and not feel like your guts are being ripped out on a daily basis? Any ins... |

Most likely your parents will be happy if you are. For your age group there are issues, bad decisions etc. that parents do worry about and rightly so, But, if they call you a "good kid" they will just be happy you have fiends and are getting to live some of the life others take for granted. When I w... |

To tell a man to stop being a woman is an insult to both the man and women in general. It implies that women are in some form substandard and not a type of person to aspire to be. Back in grade school I was once told I ran like a girl. This statement always confused me because I am a girl, how else ... |

It is an unfair statement but I can understand it as well, as well as the need of members from both genders to voice such complaints. Individual humans are confusing enough, to both ads and nt people, add in the necessary complications that are relationships and well you get kind of a Molotov cockta... |

Don't give up keep trying the fact of the matter is most people don't really know what they are looking for and most NTs seem to try for a broad spectrum approach to dating. Much like using dynamite to fish. One girl who didn't seem to be all she was isn't a reason to give up : ) |

Union! I've had the same day job for the last 5 years, it pays nothing but keeps me earning and out of the house.... where I tend to fall apart most. This is the longest I've ever held a job, my last bench mark being about a year and a half. The only difference I can come up with in this position vs... |

That sounded awful! My daughter is married to a man like that, who puts himself above her and her unborn child. I am GLAD that you handled it the way that you did! : ) thank you, it has to be said he isn't a bad man in general terms, he's just a kid who never grew up, depression also played a part ... |

Sorry, it was more for me to get out. pros and cons, all too logical. Has anyone else had that feeling of a child trapped inside them? To answer your last question, yes, unfortunately I've been an 8-12 year old in a woman's body most of my adult life. Conversely as a child all anyone could say is h... |

So three questions: 1) Why do you think in our culture we have these phrases that clearly delineate what proper male behavior is, but we do not for female behavior? 2) If hypothetically we did commonly use phases like "be a woman about it," what kind of behavior would the phrase imply was needed an... |
