Bill O'Reilly is hilarious! So is Sean Hannity and his straw-man sidekick, Allan Colmes. I look at Faux News Channel as a comedic self-satire of modern corporate news and southern frat-boy politics. Neo-conservatism is 21st century sophistry.

I feel uncomfortable around fellow males. I feel like every interaction is some sort of primal struggle for dominance in some wierd way. Plus, I hate sports.

Most of my friends are female. That, of course, poses problems of its own.

That sounds like a pretty intense ordeal to go through. Sigh... high school is a pretty tough time (not that it gets much better after you hit 21), but you'll make it through. One of the things that it took me a long time to figure out was that most people, when upset or in a social situation, choos...

Yeah, you sound kind of like me at that age. Sigh... romance can be extremely frustrating and bad for the self-esteem. Unfortunately, that doesn't keep the hormones in check. I don't know, I think a lot of people get a creepy/wierd vibe from us. That and... some people think it is OK to take advanta...

I think this is a fairly common situation for aspie girls to get sucked into. I've seen it to various degrees with three different people that's I've known pretty well. I feel horribly every time. Overbearing and patronizing mothers really scare me because one of the things I've always hated most is...

I put "de facto" because my girlfriend and I have been going out for 4 years now and are moving in together in a few weeks. She is the Hermine to my Steppenwolf (sans-deathpact, heh). I was actually kind of tempted to put "swinger" because we tend to sleep with each other's friends (or, I don't know...

{homeschooling}... is a really valid option for AS people because sometimes you might need to protect your kid from the rest of the people and you might need to have them study at another pace ... faster some things and slower other things... Is that not quite similar to what white supremecists wou...

Eh, I'd say this is pretty much the libertarian/objectivist view on it. Sort of their view on a lot of things; 'all mental illnesses are just problems you can get over if you try hard enough.' Well, I agree with half of that. All mental "illness" really are just 'problems'; problems that a lot of pe...

Don't even try with the girl who are all dressed up in some stylish manner. About 99 times out of 100 you will be shot down. Girls who have a "scene" (chic) look are also a problem because they are normally boring, shallow NTs. This statement is shallower than the people you criticise. Eh, just my ...

Oh, yeah, almost forgot. Umm... I'm not really as deranged as I probably sound on this forum. I'm normally a very sweet, chill, friendly guy. I guess talking about AS just makes me think about all the other crazy crap that's happened to me. Sigh...

I have some serious rage issues too (incidently, my name is also Andrew). I seem to always get taken by surprise by strong emotions like that. It just drives me crazy with some sort of destruction-lust possession. I try to get as far away from people as possible when I feel that coming on. Sigh, I d...

Eh, unless the letters of reference are specifically mentioning that you have AS, I'd try to avoid mentioning that. These days, there's all these weird connotations with it... like "Asperger's = bad people skills + not a team player = unhirable" or "Asperger's = autism = Rain Man." So if it hasn't ...

At times it sure seems like it. No, I'm not making this up. I think I know what you are talking about. Maybe "player" would be a better word? Anyway, I somehow always ended up getting roped into some wierd sexual fling (heh, sometimes literally) when all I "really" (stated purpose) wanted to do was...

Unless fashion is an interest of hers, she probably will be dressed for comfort not to look good. I have to agree with this. The touching thing isn't something I have any extreem reaction to. I can tolerate it if I have to, but I generaly avoid it as best I can. If it's somebody that I trust a lot then I can have no problem with it whatsoever (depending on the context of the touching). I remember trying to learn to make ...
