I seem to make friends with people over seas and then somehow I have lost them. They stopped writing me and answering my emails. So I was wondering if anybody wants a friend anywhere close to here?

I am 32, my son was diagnosed with ASD in November 05, I knew since June when I got myself into research.
I just found this site two days ago.
Another quick note...I am from New Hampshire. Heeeeeeeeeeeey Yankees!!

My ASD son, Lucas, is three as of 04-24-06. He is so beautiful and bright and loving and fun. I could give a million more "ands". The OT tells me he is seeking deep pressure input. He puts his hands or fists against his cheeks or jaws and presses making a kind of grunting noise. I almost don't notic...

According to the DSM IV manual used to diagnos any person with ASD; normal speech development prior to age two is a REQUIREMENT to fall in the Asperger's catagory.

I think you are fine...don't worry. Your boss may be like you and was thinking about the next thing on his "to-do" list even before he heard the response to his question and that may be the reason he paused before leaving. Or if you still feel uncomfortable about the conversation you might consider ...
