Does anyone agree/disagree with or have a good idea as to how much of an effect these chemicals can have? I've seen how common these can be seen in ingredients of various products and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts they would share.

I feel for you. All I can say is to not give up looking for a new job. Maybe there is something you can do in the meantime to ease the stress, like wearing earplugs if possible. I've had bad headaches growing up, but I personally wouldn't take pain medication.
