This is over the top in my opinion. We are in a similar situation with my son, and I know he would not have carried out the threat he made. My son was not having fits of rage at a young age. He got angry, but he never hit me. When he turned 12, everything changed. Thinking back, I think that hormonal changes also added stress. Thanks for the responses. Since my son has this semester off of school, he is in the tenth grade, we get an opportunity to safely reduce his meds to see if this is what is making him off. Thank you. This makes a lot of sense to me. He takes all meds at night. We are going to slowly reduce the Abilify and see what happens. Your reply is very helpful.
