Why do I always hear of such stories in places such as Iran, or Saudi Arabia? It seems that women are always under attack in these countries especially. I am glad to be born and bred here in the United States. Blessed be.

Interesting post. I have to say that I don't believe that you are a victim at all. Years ago, I was bullied and picked on for a lot of the social and speech problems that I had in school. It was an emotional nightmare for me I have to say. I can not say that I know what it is like to have experience...

You don't have to be an Aspie to join the forum. I have found WP to be so-so thus far, but I am rather new. I have only recently found this forum after being diagnosed as being an Aspie and though I have found this forum to be so-so, I too am rather blessed to be an Aspie. It is who I am and there i...

Hello, I am a 29 year old male from the United States, and I was diagnosed with Asperger's earlier this year. I also have been diagnosed with ADHD as well (pretty much ADD), and my life has been one of such loneliness and mis-spoken words. I am currently studying Mech. Engineering Technology and I e...

First of all, I have to say that the college does not have the right to insist that you have to go to therapy whatsoever. Second, I think that it may be important to tell some of your tutors that you have AS...but you do not and should not go into any great depth about it. It is an awareness issue s...

[quote="lightening020"]......don't really need to say anything.....I feel like the biggest loser in the world. I can honestly say that right now, I really have no friends anymore. I used to have a few, but we are not friends anymore and nobody calls me. I always call other people, chat, sa...

I hope that you will be able to find the peace within yourself to not beat yourself up over this. However, you should find a therapist so you can work through these meltdowns. Just because you may move away from your mother does not mean that your meltdowns will cease to exist. Then, it probably is ...

With most of what you said MR20, I am with you. I hear you. Even though I graduated from HS, I never "technically" received a diploma...my teenage years was total hell for me. Constant humiliation and teasing. No friends whatsoever to shield me a little from the teasing...but somehow, I am here toda...

Shadowchyld, I personally believe that you should go to the viewing tomorrow. To me, it seems that they considered you family. This is a very vulnerable time for them, as they have lost a child...and for them to open their hearts to you in this way is a sign that they considered you a part of the fa...

I am currently on 20mg (can't remember exactly) and it has worked pretty well. My depression has...um, well I am not as depressed as I have been. The main side effect I had noticed was that I would get really tired and would have to nap during the day. I think that it seems to be pretty common. It's...

I have the same problem. I will be talking about one thing, and a minute later, I will not even know what I have said. That, and trying to cross the street. Normals don't know, but crossing a street is hard. There is a lot of things that you have to think about: which way is the car coming from, how...

I live at home still, I like music, and inventing languages. I like books. I really, really like books (by which I mean fantas...
