What is/was your major? I ask because this kind of bullying intensifies in professional degree programs. This is why I advocate for people to study their special interest, and then go into business for themselves instead. I am in high school. In that case, I wish I can help, but I specialize in pos... |

I am available by skype, facetime, Google hangout... whatever works for you. I am a very good listener. Don't tell me your name, and nobody will show up at your door to drug you into submission. My point is, I have been to hell and back, and chose every morning to keep trying out new options. I have... |

I survived my required statistics class with a three-pronged strategy: 1) take it in the summer, as the only class, at a difference college. The logic was that I can transfer in the credit without the grade affecting my GPA 2) Get a Dyscalculia diagnosis, and ask for an accommodation. For me, it was... |

The college will depend heavily on whether their DSS people "get it". In that case, there are only three of those in the entire state of New York. I've been to nine SUNY schools, and sued three times. |

I would design a program where they is no special ed. I don't believe people with learning differences should be taught in a dumbed-down classroom. It's all about presentation. |

I'm doing a new quantitative study this semester. My professor is officially my mentor, but he has completely left me to my own devices. If I can't nail him down long enough to help me finish the IRB application in the next few days, then can I begin planning on publishing it under my own name only? |

I'm just checking in to say that I ready everything. Some of you made me cry with self-awareness and truth. Others (Jason) made me laugh. In either case, please keep it coming. I am processing it all right now. I know what the outcome should be, I just don't know how to initiate it. like Jason said,... |

I am an aspie mom with four children. Only the oldest is NT. She is just like her dad. We divorced four years ago, and she is now 17. Her and I never got along. I have grown to see through her conning and manipulating classic neurotypical behaviors at me. Fortunately, I am typically a step ahead of ... |

I hired a professional to help me with communication and deciphering assignment directions. After a few weeks, it proved to be the smartest decision ever. Eventually, I had him contact my VR counselor and he was added to my school expenses. He is now paid by the state. |
