I just installed Paltalk. While it's not really spyware, it does try to install additional advertising-related software (it tried to install a popup-blocker, which might have other "functions", and it advertises various toolbar-addons when it starts up).

I just discovered this old thread, and decided to revive it... I need to get a haircut. My hair is getting long, and it generally needs some tidying up. However, I don't like going to the barber. It's hard to describe how I want my hair to be, and making sure that it becomes that way. Sometimes, too...

This is a bit typical. First, they give out free licenses due to their 10-year anniversary. Then, a couple of weeks later, they make the whole thing free.

Something tells me that they had planned this all along, and that they were giving out free licenses just to gather names and data.

I like Sigur Ros as well. I saw them live back in 2002, when they released their previous album. And yes, their music does sometimes sort-of connect to my emotions. But I like sad music in general.

Sorry, Scoots5012, but I disagree with you. If Apple had stuck to the 68k-series of processors, then the fastest Mac would be a 66MHz 68060.
