I am in a optimistic state right now and thought I'd post a thread. Just to cross swords with the musings that psychological diagnosis' symptoms have not only on aspies, but all people with perceived psychological dis orders. If you look in dictionaries you would know psychology is juxtaposed as a b... |

I too have difficulty starting things. Too a degree its ADD, but mostly it is because I like to look/think about things in great detail before taking action, the rate at which ''life'' moves is too fast for me to comfortably learn and do things the way I want. And there are so many things! I will fo... |

You don't like chicken? A no, i don't b yes I don't like chicken sounds to me like the grammatical stickler part of your noodle is arguing with the gestalt part. when you think of your example dialogue, your brain is picking up on both the individual words as a linked chain of specific thought-imag... |

you can't logically argue with a religious person. you can't disprove that which has never been proven! Many people who claim to be religious people are unrespectable, but that shouldn't make them unacceptable. As an atheist you don't have anything at stake- no reason to debate. But if a debate does... |

Outward pantomimes perpetuate inner experiences in aspies too. Albeit in drastically different ways. We are all compromising our impulses affectively. I would largely agree that society has become very superficial mainly because we are too influenced, even manipulated, from the day we are born. Peop... |

Sounds like Schizoid, which precludes AS. There are some AS traits (e.g. love of history). There are some OCD traits (e.g. face washing, wearing 7 rings). The lengthy conversations with people who are not there is not typically seen in AS. The lack of patience with technology is not typically seen ... |
