I doubt you could get enough people on the spectrum to agree on a platform. We'd start off single-issue. On the big issues like Aspergers VS No-Aspergers, or, Cure it VS Keep it, we'd be neutral; but on political issues we'd start off advocating better Treatment of people with Autism, and move on f...

In Canada, according to Elections Canada; You need 250 members; an Agent, an Auditor, and 3 other "officers" - IE Party President, Secretary, Treasurer; A Leader; and a signed form from the Leader saying that all of the above are in place and the party is ready to go. Getting a Federal party is easy...

I tried doing some research on Politicians that have Autism, and of course, could not find any. I also had trouble finding many politicians that were seen as standing up for the Autistic community. I'm curious what other people's response would be to an idea to create an "Autistic Party" and to run ...

I wanted to share my experiences in running for office. I've run for office two times. Once at a provincial level and once at a municipal level. The first time as the candidate for the pro-Labour party, and the second, as the unofficial candidate for the Conservative Party. (For anyone curious, I am...

I work as a Security Guard and we are expected to be, among other things; 1 - In a white uniform. Not one that's turned yellowbrown from being not cleaned in a long while 2 - Not smelly 3 - Not keep food around in drawers So a patrol supervisor dropped by and... long story short I had an "episode" :...

I'm looking for more of "And they all laughed" stories. I get what you mean, but unfortunately I don't have any of those stories. That kind of experience is foreign to me. All of my jokes/pranks/etc. were deranged, solitary activities where if anyone laughed, it was me. It seems to me that people o...

If I could spend all my time learning about the history of their strange world I'd go, but if they refused to answer questions first I'd return home.

I'm looking for more of "And they all laughed" stories. Bad Example: My boss wanted to keep a cookie tin, so he left a note taped to the top of it "NO THROW OUT". As a joke, I hid the bottom, and told him that "I saved the top of that win for you" and made him think that I'd tossed the bottom out. W...
