I used Ritalin for a while and it did help greatly short term. Unfortunately it also brought out the worst side of me. I was unaware that I became more verbally rude and aggressive in nature plus my mind was like fighting against the drug and the amount I was taking was not having the same affect an...

I know of Pro photographers using a Canon 7D. It has a full frame sensor. Pictures are clear and crisp. Always shoot a few shots at the shop so as to check it out before you buy. Get the best gear you can afford.

My passion is photography too, for when I'm in the zone the pain of life disappears for a while. You have a good camera and lens to capture detail close up. I like your photos on flickr. You have a good eye. I have a problem of being a perfectionist at my photography. I haven't got the best social s...

Sweetleaf, when I was young, I felt the way you do now but without the support. I have always stumbled around looking for help. It can take a long time to find the right doctor. We now have a lot of support buddies at Wrongplanet that can come to our aid. I was just thinking that just by you answeri...

Hi White Raven, I concur with your thought about saying we, for so many of us although being different in our pursuits and abilities, there is a common thread that bonds us together. I am going to therapy as well and only today he helped me see things in a different point of view. It will take a whi...

Hi I feel similar to the way you feel. I'm different to you in that I can't reach my goal of working at what I love to do. I can't connect with people. I feel what is the point when nothing is working properly. I feel like Van Gogh who was not accepted in his time.

Good tips on photographing the sun. Capture the sun when it is least intense, late in the day. The sun can damage the sensor in your camera as well as our eyes if we are not careful.

The fountain photo is excellent. The composition is good. The eye is led through the image from front to back. A good photo has a theme and you only put in the photo what fits the theme. Keep your image simple [uncluttered]. You keep out of the photo anything that takes you eye away from the theme. ...

You should start your own blog. I know someone who started a project of taking one photo every day for a year and posted them on a blog daily. A lot of people like to see around the place where one lives. Go for it!

Go to "IMAGE" - Adjustments and click on Shadows/Highlights. This will lighten the shadow area and you can play a bit with the adjustment sliders. Go to "IMAGE" - Adjustment and click on Vibrance. This can give the photo a glow effect or shine.

When I read the forum accounts of peoples lives it makes me feel I'm not alone. My passion and outlet is Photography. When I'm behind t...
