Per title I went in for a day long neuro-cognitive test. There was about 8 hours of testing in all (plus an hour for lunch, so I was there almost 9 hours). The lab techs had me taking all kinds of different tests, many seemed geared toward memory. One was a computer test that showed 5 digits, then b...

It's time for annual performance reviews. I'm good at my primary work duties but struggle with some situations. For instance, there was a network outage happened in the midde of a webinar I was hosting, and I became visibly upset and did not react well to one of the team members (a non tech person) ...

I do hiring for my office, and I always check LinkedIn to see what it can tell me about the applicant. I am interested in seeing if the person has the ability to network and whether they are signed up for any professional groups. It also helps if they have recommendations from former employers (one...

A grant I work under seems to be ending soon. I am terrified. I'm a little older, and have poor social skills to begin with. Everyone says to just network. I've never gotten a job from "networking" - only through applying to people I don't know. Also are there any trusted resume writing services you...

I have an IQ around 118-122 but I do feel pretty stupid most of the time. I can't recall facts and figures, forget names, can't remember brands and probably sound as dumb as rocks to NTs. I know I'm kind of smart it just doesn't show.

Went to see a much anticipated movie, Prometheus tonight. But I went to a theatre that only had a 3D version showing. 15 minutes into this thing I had to take the glasses off.. It was too intense. Halfway through I wasn't even watching the screen and had my fingers in my ears.. it was so loud, so in...

Enthralled with Doc Martin.. was introduced to the show a few years ago, and am just now watching season 5. He has traits of ASD but then he doesn't avoid others' eyes. We don't know how his sensitivities to sound, touch, ect are. I'd say he's on the spectrum somewhere. Without knowing more of Clune...

My tractor and shovel are my two best friends. And sometimes my motorcycle.. and the computer.. I'd have an outdoor cat if it weren't for the coyotes. I can't deal with the smell of an indoor cat.

As far as humans go, no best friends and only a few quasi acquaintances.
