My neighbors had to call the police 2 times. Each time, they arrived with assault rifles because they thought somebody was being murdered. |

Is it your way of dealing with sensory overload? My ways of dealing with sensory overload involves making movements and noises repetitively, maybe you are doing your activities for similar reasons? I don't think so. I do this because doing so makes me feel fulfilled. During sensory overload (if it ... |

Because I didn't feed myself with it. I would just sit in front of the dish and not eat it at all, or maybe eat 1-2 spoons. |

Start with this quiz. http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php Some clues... Lack of friends High intelligence Love of routine Lack of empathy Unfortunately the list seems endless and not all Aspie's have the same issues. B I don't think "high intelligence" is in any way a symptom or a sign of Asperg... |

I usually do that while sliding on the floor, and accelerating with my hands. |

What I noticed is that half to 2/3 of the actions which I do when I do "this" are exactly the same as those with low functioning autism do. You don't have many melt downs either; I'm willing to bet. TheSunAlsoRises Well, very often (usually 0.5 to 2 times a day), I get angry and annoyed to such a p... |

You sound like a hyperactive child. Not to impugne your maturity, but you have the symptons ( that sound to my unschooled opinion) like those of children who are hyperactive. You oughta take sedatives. But dont touch booze. No, most children who are hyperactive express their hyperactivity in a more... |

Does anybody else do that? On top of that, I also run around the house while making animal and car noises, moving my body parts and screaming "beep beep I'm a tractor" and "beep beep I'm a crane". I also lay on my bed, move my body parts around as fast as I can, while making high and low pitched sou... |

I should add my own feedback as well. In 60% of the situations, I make very excessive eye contact during the first seconds, then, with every glance, I notice myself making less and less eye contact, to the point that I can't get myself to make it at all (after about 20 seconds of the conversations, ... |

They can, but it's incredibly hard, as relationships are largely based on nonverbal communication (body language) not only in the animal kingdom, but also in humans. |

I can totally relate to that! When people start talking about their kids and their families and that sort of thing (I'm not married, don't have kids, etc.), it's like I become part of the furniture. People ask me if I am okay because I am so quiet. But can you relate to never being able to relate t... |

Whenever groups of people approach me and greet me, they start asking me questions. I respond, and sometimes add my own remarks. Then, while still surrounding me, they start having a conversation, at which point, I usually can't relate to what they're saying at all. It's like they're from another pl... |

Does anybody else get called 'stupid' and 'silly' because of the way they act? I often act in a way which isn't appropriate for my age group, and people often call me 'stupid, 'silly' and 'weird' for this reason, even though socioemtoional development has nothing to do with intellectual intelligence... |
