I would not irritate the guy by being too pushy. Sounds like he knows you're there. Don't stop there, and get your hopes up. Look for other things. A patient man never waits. Thank you, I was starting to feel like I should have done something that only I didn't know I was supposed to do, but it see... |

I don't want to over elaborate but basically I need to have this interview over Skype, the person with whom I am supposed to have the interview did accept my request but has not replied to neither of my messages about when he would find it opportune to have the interview according to his schedule. headphones and earphones are very uncomfortable for me, even if I am using them with the lowest volume I still get this ringing in my ear, something that does not happen with speakers mostly regardless of the volume. Also headphones hurt my ears even when they are loose. But I only have nothing but ... |

There seem to be some misconceptions in this thread. Research is finding that individuals classified as being on the schizophrenia spectrum have an "atypical" neurology--and that signs arise early in development. The same neurolocial soft signs that autistic people exhibit are also found in schizoi... |

According to the DSM-IV, Aspergers and Schizotypal cannot coexist. If you go to this link: http://counsellingresource.com/lib/distress/schizophrenic/schizophrenia-dsm/schizotypal-symptoms/ you will see under criteria B, that schizotypal cannot be diagnosed with a pervasive developmental disorder (i... |

Do you ever feel like some people make you feel extremely uncomfortable by their mere presence, almost as if they had this energy that got under your skin and crept and crawled in the most uncomfortable manner so much that you just cannot stand to be near them. A much less abstract way to put what I... |

I have read the whole thread and not surprisingly I felt very identified. Do not see the need to reiterate. I also agree on the comments talking of the pursuance of spiritual growth and the shedding of the impermanent aspects of life. All I can say is that I cannot wait until we can transfer our con... |

or maybe, have you considered that it might be that the thread was already dead or on its way out by the time you posted on it? sometimes people feel (rightly or wrongly) that everything that needed to be said was already said and they don't check back for additional comments. to be fair, a lot of ... |

Although I personally don't have this problem it reminds me of something. Fires due to overheated cooking hobs occur quite frequently in nursing homes because this kind of forgetfulness is very common in elderly people. After such a fire the home management gave us the job to install tact switches,... |

I kinda hate it.. since losing most contact with my parents it's just me and my wife over Christmas, so the only thing that makes it different to any other day is there's nothing on TV and all the shops are closed. On top of that, work closes for a week so I can't even go in (I'd even do it unpaid.... |

I hate Christmas for many reason not the least of which is I am an atheist. My birthday is December 21st and as a child it was always forgotten. I don't like to shop and I don't have money to buy the socially expected gifts so I feel like an outcast. I'm obviously an aspie so I don't like crowds of... |

The anticipation when everyone is ... |

I know exactly what you are talking about. as far as dangerous things, I have done some things that are quite similar in sort of an absent-minded or forgetful state. Leaving bratwursts in the oven until they caught fire, forgetting to turn off the grill outside, leaving various burners on and such,... |

I don't think an online "friendship" or social interaction is necessarily inferior to meeting in person. If it feels real then it is real. But the semi-anonymous nature of message boards makes it easier to lose people and then have no way of ever finding them again. If you lost track a of a real pe... |
