I don't understand how it is possible not to find babies cute. honestly. Do you find elderly cute? Didn't Jerry Seinfeld have a routine about that? Everyone bothers you with pictures about the baby, but no one shows you pictures of their grandpa? Even though turning 86 is much more a feat than turn... |

I wouldn't worry about that. There are two neurotypical answers and two Aspie answers. All except the first Aspie answer was in the average range. One of the answers also comes from another forum that historically has generated many answers, so is not related to this discussion. Even if one out fiv... |

Here is a video from a well respected doctor who claims that marijuana help the production of brain cell (neuropgenesis) http://www.ted.com/talks/dean_ornish_says_your_genes_are_not_your_fate.html (This is not the main topic of the video, but it is mentioned at some point) If you want to convinced y... |

Whether you are mean or not will of course depend of the environment. This is true for everybody, but especially for aspies because we don't have a social mapping build in, like NT have, therefore, we have to learn socials the hard way, by trials or errors. If we are in a unhealthy and mean environm... |

It would be interesting to find out if different kind of Neanderthal races have existed; After all, we are speaking about a specie that lived for 200 000 years in a very large region. Beside of that, what make the Neanderthal theory coherent to me is physical appearance of Europeans. The light compl... |

TheWingman, I am pacing with perplexity on the matter and am impatient to know without reservation the absolute truth. But I will have to wait it out. Sorry to disapoint you, the absolute truth absolutly doesn't exist, especially in a matter so intelligible as psychology. You can't have truth, just... |

I am with almost complete certitude at this point that I have Aspergers. However, my fears abound as to the possibility of my being misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all. I will be assessed in three-four weeks time. I was inimical to the correlations between myself and the syndrome at first, but now... |

One of the best online asperger test is http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php It is serious and based on solid documentation. If you answer honestly to this test, you'll know if you have it or not. |

When I begun to diet I didn't have sugar by accident and I ended up almost fainting. Reduce sugar but do not stop. I think you need about 30mg of sugar a day. Some sugar is good, like the one in fruit. Refined sugar is bad but a tiny tiny is ok. This type of post is very dangerous. It's bad enough ... |

Personaly I don't believe in blaming the society. I know it's very temping but it's not a good way of thinking. I personaly like blaming the women because I never had a girlfriend, and I nearly never get laid, but but doing so I feel like it's not my fault I feel it's me against them, I become even ... |

Just for reference. Glucose (a sugar) is used to produce ATP which is the fuel molecule that all cells need, especially neurons and muscle fibers. Brains need glucose. The harder the brain works, the more glucose it needs. Carbohydrates produce 4 k/cal per gram. Proteins can be broken down into glu... |
