Absolutely! I am great superficially. People find me entertaining, intelligent, interesting and quite charismatic. The entertaining part is my unique perspective on things which many people take as humor. (One man's humor is another man's AS). As a professional, I have important information I must i...

I probably would have jumped at the chance when I was younger...now not so sure. I am finally comfortable with being an Aspie...I guess I wouldn't want to go through questioning and loathing myself again. From my experience NTs aren't all that together either. We are so cool. We are so different. Bi...

I love this! Ditto to most everyone except the ones that don't wear them. I agree with eipsa when she said she has 'sunglass anxiety'. I do too, sorta. I used to by cheap sunglasses (no reference to the ZZ Top song)...anyway.... because I didn't have to like them all that much. I knew it only a matt...

I don't have too many close friends. It freaks me out to think they expect me to call and so I just don't. Plus they expect you to do things and alot of times I don't feel like doing stuctured stuff. It is a little confining and unless people accept that, I feel trapped. I have had alot of people pu...

Dear hyper_alien, Just want to say I love you and you are not alone. You spoke for me. Please...do not feel alone. You have a gift. I will wait for other poems. Don't give up on meds though, maybe you aren't on the right ones. But if you are determined to be ala natural...you are still awesome! Your...

I am glad your story ended like it did. That was pretty bad and it could have really been worse if they had mistreated you after they had you handcuffed...you know how little guys can be when their authority is challenged. Thanks for the story. I liked Donkey's

Hmmmm...interesting indeed. Yes, I am totally a tomboy. I grewup in a house full of girls. I was like my dad's son. I fix cars. Heck, I fix anything. I don't like girly stuff. I wear jeans and t-shirts. Always have, always will. I would much rather mow the lawn than vacuum the carpet. I hate to be a...

Bummer. I completely understand. Yes we are more gullable. Mean people suck. But nice people let them. Don't let them. I too seem slow. But don't worry about it, you know you are okay. So what if we have to break every f_____ thing down to the bare essence. So kill us. You will be okay. Hang in ther...

I wear them b/c I have to. The light bothers like the other postee. I wish just wearing shades would protect me for others but...it doesn't. I don't look. It is easier that way. I have to have a dorky-looking strap on mine that keeps me from losing mine, though, b/c I can't keep up with anything. Oh...

How wonderful of you to want to help him. I have been married 28 years. My husband has helped me tremendously. He helps me understand things. He allows me to ramble on about the things I am obsessed about. But he lets me know gently when I am a little monotonous. He is my safe refuge and never makes...

I think it is just that we look for details. I personally am such a simple-ton. I think alot of people ignore the foundational stuff. Also you may be attracting people with problems that they are in denial about. Maybe you are so sensitive that you are hearing deeper that most people and intuitive e...

I just joined. I haven't been diagnosed-except with ADHD. I am soo glad to have discovered the website b/c I have always tried to understand why I didn't quite fit the ADHD profile exactly. I talked to a professor and told her I thought ADD had components of Autism. Now I understand a little more......
