| If you are in the US you absolutely do not have to tell. You can also request accommodations from a university without telling anyone except disability services what the actual disability it. For a job, you may have to state that you can perform the functions of the job, but do you really want a job... |

| I rock back and forth often. I also love water and so take a bath every day (Yes, cleanliness is good, but I use this for stimming to). I also love rocking so sleep in a hammock instead of a bed. |

| Depending on the country, accommodations may be a right. Though treating them as a privilege may work better in asking for them. | I have not outgrown it. I can hide it well enough to go to college, work with others, and get through my day but I make modifications and accommodations in my life, get some support, and people know I am different, especially socially. We can learn to adapt, but it never just goes away. |
