70% of the queued comments/answers I give to strangers are preceded by "sorry?". It used to be "what" but that's kind of rude. But then again, it's all probably rude to ask people to repeat things three times. I can hear a pin drop, and I can probably point out which cupboard in my house makes whic...

I'm 29, AS/BP and had to move back home almost three years ago because I was incapable of living on my own. At the time I was actively suicidal and, if I'm honest, in the middle of a breakdown when I moved in. For months I felt like an inpatient; it wasn't my place and my mother took care of everyth...

I used to be able to write forward with my (dominant) right hand, and simultaneously backward with my left (the same text). I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who did that... :D I do the same! When I got bored in class I would write my notes backwards to keep myself awake. I have to work...

I started 2.5mg/d Zyprexa last year and have since gone up to 5mg/d. It took the edge off of the rabid, almost manic need to grab a knife and slice myself open repeatedly. God, that was such torture. I'm left with some muscle spasms but I feel that the benefits outweigh the side effect I get. To be ...

29, late last year. It had been suggested by two other clinicians in my 20s, though.

So far it's helping me figure some things out.

I use Veet in shower depiliatory cream. Wipe it on my legs and underarms using the soft sponge and by the time the shower water is hot all the hair just comes off with a washer. I shower every day (and most days wash my hair) but I only have to get rid of the leg and underarm hair once a week. The ...

I have a slew of health problems and I feel that having a child would simply be pissing in the gene pool.

I will be 30 in February. I'm currently out of grad school and living at home because I am incapable of living on my own at this time. My 20s were ravaged by the effects of BP and other health issues. I was actively suicidal and nearly offed myself a few times due to my perceived failure at being an...

Very sensitive sense of smell here. The grocery store can be overwhelming because I smell things through their boxes.

Also: the smell of skunk doesn't bother me. I find it oddly pleasant.
