Erm... the Milgram experiment is a well known demonstration of human nature. I'm relating it to empathy in nonautistics. At each step the science either backs me up or is one small leap away. If you have any specific queries I could help. I can't vouch for how this works with NTs, I have a very low...

I've been reading a bit about the social differences of Aspie v. NT. And most people fall back on outdated evolutionary reasoning. In reality, I think Aspies would do better in a prehistoric environment. These days, social skills are the most important of skills, but back then, anything would've bee...

Weirdly enough, if it's a girl that I'm attracted to, I don't have a problem with being nervous or unsure of myself. Anyone else though, my heart beats faster, I feel unable to speak normally, my brain starts to go through sensory overload, and I just generally feel panicked because I have no idea ...

Marshall, they take care of their DNA (family) plus whoever the power hierarchy says they should. They can have conflicts between protecting their family and the hierarchy but I see no conflicts about outsiders, who get summarily despatched. They're still playing by jungle rules. http://en.wikipedi...

Psychopaths don't have empathy either. Coincidence?

Yeah, I probably should've made it more idiot-friendly. You keep saying "we", so you assume all autistics are the same as you. Very arrogant. Very naive of you.

I am an aspie and will be a CEO(leader) in a few weeks, i'm still 17 and an aspie so people think it's impossible but i feel like aspies are better leaders then others, we are perfectionists in what we do and are like the quiet, calm genius in the place. don't doubt yourself, you'll be great. What ...

That's logically impossible. Maturity is governed by emotional intelligence, or EQ. And all autistics have significantly lower EQs than NTs. Therefore, it is much more likely that the feeling of 'maturity' is actually an overcompensation for not understanding the emotionally more advanced processes ...

I'm under the impression that testing only the Raven's matrices shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the concept of intelligence. Intelligence is a complete package. If you perform poorly on a verbal test and well on a non-verbal one, you still have to take into account the score for the verbal t...
