I often feel like a single parent. I dare to say my case is worse: sometimes I wish I were a single parent! I would have to do everything myself, without help - but not being on the way sometimes is help enough... Just to make clear, I love my wife, don't intend to divorce her nor want her to die.

The irony in my case is that last weekend my wife suggested that I should create a blog to give people advice about parenting - which makes me think she finds me good at it and that I'm doing things right -, but even herself simply doesn't listen to me! This morning, for instance, I found her bribin...

Anyway, it's pretty rough to feel like everyone else is against you... I recognize that parenting is my new obsession (but it is a very interesting subject!); but I really think what I do is - or should be - basic stuff: regular eating and sleeping times, healthy food (at least as a rule), restricte...

I don't know how many you are fans of "House M.D.", but for those who are: have you ever wondered whether Greg is an Aspie? The great insights, the difficulty with relationships, the voluntary loneliness, throwing a ball agains the wall to help thinking... What do you think?

Sparx, Thank you! I've completed the quiz and I'm "very likely an Aspie". It's kind of a relief, it helps to explain many things. I have another worry now, maybe you -or someone else - can help me with this: how - and when - will I know whether my two-month old boy also has it? Thanks again, Mufasa

Hello, everybody - or anyone interested. I'm almost 40, and I have suspected for some time I have some kind of ASD (my wife quite often tells me so, following my mother, to whom I'm "not normal"). This week I've read a book that made me think harder about it. The problem is: in the place I live I do...
