Most people here seem to have problem with high-pitched noises. Me too, but I also feel aversed to very low-pitched noises. I can´t stand men talking in dark booming voices and machinery that gives of low-pitched humming. It´s like I can only stand noises that´s within a certain range and anything l... |

Used to be quite obsessed with the Dune game series (which also generated an interest in the books) and Civilization. For a while strategy was my genre choice. I tried a bunch of other similar games, like Age of Empires and the first two warcraft games, but most of them were just uninspired clones. ... |

A very interesting (but sad) record. Pretty sure it won´t make it into the Guiness though, it´s a too sensitive topic for that. Like we´ll probably never get to know who has set the record for most failed suicide attempts either or who has raped the most either (at least not in Guiness). |

I recognize the problem of wanting to have "something to say". But should I apply this to the music I listen to most of it would fail to live up to this. Most songs are pretty banal if you listen to what they actually say. I don´t know if this advice is good or not, but I suggest reading the lyrics ... |

Kaspar in The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser, by Werner Herzog. He´s definately more of a LFA, but I connected to his way of reasoning. In real life, people who knew Kaspar Hauser were convinced he was nothing but a liar and a con man who had concocted his whole story about a strange man raising him in se... |

a few I had considered: Quixotic Witty Kitty Mor*Ass Don´t mean to rain on your parade but there was a '90s band called Quix*o*tic. Maybe you should take it as acompliment, that some band actually chose this as their name. 8) It's probably difficult to find a one word name that's never been taken b... |

A character in CSI once found a camera at a crime scene, opened it, pulled out the film, and said "take this to the lab and have it developed". Can't watch CSI. I had a talk with a friend about this once, and he said he once asked his son how Spongebob could light a fire under water. His kid just l... |

What´s this? No-one has mentioned Cowboy Bebop yet? Blasphemy! Seems like no anime thread is complete without it and I have to concur; it is a great anime. There´s just something about the whole dark cyberpunk feel that talks to me. Speaking of which, I guess I have to mention Ergo Proxy which has a... |

Whenever someone is cloned and the clone has the personality and even the memories of the original. I can´t see how that could ever work. Unless fairies or unicorns were invovled, then anything is possible. A factual error is usually not enough to make stop watching a movie but it will affect my ove... |
