Okay, I'd never heard of Biofeedback but now that I look at its description and how it works it sounds like it could definitely work for a time. But I'm not so sure for extended periods of time if it could work since, with the video game they described and controling it with the level of your brain ...

Aren't "conservative" and "liberal" opposite in the US and UK where in the US we use "right" for conversative and "left" for liberal and over in the UK it's the other way around?

What is circumstancial about scientists having come out and shown conclusively that those towers could not have been taken down the way the government said it happened? Or that they've lost their jobs and careers because of it? Have you even bothered to look at the architectural evidence yourselves?...

Terrorist propoganda which the US spouts every time they want the citizenry to support their aims. These "terrorist alerts" they had done for awhile. All the reports of "terrorists". I'm sorry; but I've looked at the evidence which has been mounted against the Bush administration and that they perp...

RobertN, you're right in that the US government and a fair portion of its citizens are just as equally to blame. 1) Because the US is supporting Israel, and 2) because many of our US citizens actually are sympathetic to Israel (I think it's that whole Xtian-Jew connection; not to mention this terro...

However, you living in the UK, are perhaps not subject to as much of this spiritual bigotry coming from the evangelical crowd as we over here in the US. The Christian Right has managed to nudge its way into politics. We hear the bigotry which continues to be raised in the "name of God" right and le...

I don't know about anyone else but there's enough to arouse suspicion that an independent (nongovernment; nontampered-with) investigation should've been held.

Then you wouldn't have to argue back and forth about fact or fiction.

Can we agree, the whole world are idiots and guilty of some black-dealing or another? You'll always find a lack of empathy from people who believe theirs is the ultimate truth, but I think this is intrinsic to human nature and just as common in atheists as it is religious people. I respect and admire the teachings of the Jews, Hindus, Pagans, and Buddhists (I know, Buddhism isn't a ...

Perhaps you are focusing on the wrong thing. The key to this is his emotions. When he gets upset he looses it right? So the key is how to cut him off from getting that upset, not quelling his emotions after they've gotten too much. How to avoid emotional flare-ups. This can be either situational (i....

I'm on another forum, which is a small forum, and percentage-wise, quite a few of the parents also have an ASD. Actually, come to think of it, despite that it is small, the nonautistic parents are in the minority.

Many JWs and Evangelists consider it their duty to "save" the rest of the world. Despite that I realize in some sense their hearts are in the right place, this also shows disrespect and a true lack of empathy for those who do not share their beliefs and who cannot be persuaded by a pamphlet. Many ig...

It's an interesting topic. It made me think of a book I had read called "Mutants" which was a biological perspective on development and where it can go awry. But towards the end of the book, this biologist stated that sciencists have found a negative correlation between longevity of life and sexual ...

Of course it's cause for concern. I just have a problem with speculation being cited as fact. You'll make a note that if it were more than just educated speculation for these last two elections, Bush wouldn't be president now. I'm not saying anyone should cite speculation as fact either. But there'...

You liberals are impossible. Where in the blue hell do you keep pulling this stuff about Israel targeting civilians on purpose? Read, and try and understand. Hezbollah. Intermingles with civilians. To maximize civilian casualties. To forward their propaganda war. Because it's the only way they have...
