I found the percussion section much easier than playing a trumpet or other instrument. Most percussion is about timing and rhythm instead of getting the right notes

Yep. My first wedding anniversary coming up. :-)

Hard to say. When reading it myself, I went back and forth between Aspergers and HFA. I'm kinda leaning towards Aspergers, because the two in "Mozart and the Whale" are both Aspies.

Hallo! I knew that. Been to NL, but not Friesland....I want to, someday. It's where my dad's ancestors came from.

I visited NL in July 2001: A-dam, R-dam, Hilversum, and Haarlem. Wasn't long enough of a trip to explore the country more.

Hey! I'm also in MN, just turned 34.

The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) has monthly meetings for Aspergers adults, you might want to try it. I went for awhile, but just haven't been back the last 3 years because of schedule changes.

There are other ways to do it. Drugstores sell ear wax removal kits. It is a bottle of oily solution and a bulb syringe. (Or you can buy the solution separately.) 1. Get an old towel and spread it out on a pillow. 2. Lay your head on the towel-covered pillow. 3. Open the solution bottle, and put the...

I LOVE iCARLY! I'm 33, my 34-y/o NT fiancee got me hooked. He has cable tv at his parents' house, so I watch his DVDs. Gotta say I love Spencer the most. His spontanaeity and artistic creativity are outrageous. I'd be lying if I didn't admit I feel slightly envious. Most of the actors are on Twitter...

Fruits Basket, all the way. I never really got into manga or anime, even with all the kids I knew who loved Sailor Moon and others. A couple years ago, a friend/coworker invited me to watch Fruits Basket at her house. I got so hooked, I asked to borrow the rest of it and finished watching them by my...

I am less than impressed with their financial reports. Last report I read states that only 23 cents of every dollar raised goes to the research they say they are raising funds for. There are many charity watch dog groups and not a single one recommends Autism Speaks. US Better Business Bureau Autis...

Selamat pagi! Apa kabar? I'm from Minneapolis. Well, I live close, not -IN- Minneapolis. Ha ha. As I type, it's just past 3am here. I am American, 30, and a Christian. I was in P. Pinang as an ex-pat kid, went to the American school for 5 years but never knew I had Aspergers until last year. Even a...

As I type, mine's just a cropped picture of Dobby, swiped from the Internet Movie Database site for "Harry Potter & Chamber of Secrets." I loved him! I've also had avatars of Chuckie (Tommy Pickles's best friend on "RugRats") because he seems to be a little Aspie himself. As one of the older tod...

Hey, guys! Anybody else in the TC area, or at least MN state? Wondering if any of you attend the monthly Aspie Adults group at AuSM -- Autism Soc. of MN -- in Edina (4th Thursdays). I haven't attended yet but might go in September. Would be nice to know someone already -- at least by name -- but if ...
